Pupil Appraisal Facilitators
Assists with supervising observing Pupil Appraisal staff; develops programs to assist Pupil Appraisal staff in meeting the diverse needs and varied abilities of students; keeps a log and manages a system of priorities for accomplishing administrative tasks; implements the parish Performance Evaluation Plan through observations, evaluations and analysis of data; plans and evaluates Pupil Appraisal services; implements and/or assists teachers and other school personnel in the design and implementation of educational and behavioral interventions for referred students; ensures the evaluation of students referred for Pupil Appraisal services; requests/recommends materials and data to fulfill responsibilities; maintains accurate records and reports and forwards these to the appropriate authorities upon request; provides supervision to interning school psychologist and reports progress or lack thereof to the attending university and state department; monitors timelines and applies for extensions of evaluation timelines when necessary; facilitates all evaluations for staff with less than three years of experience. Provides all other staff with the needed supports to successfully complete the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; keeps informed on available national, state, and local regulations affecting curriculum. Interprets assessment and explains Pupil Appraisal services and results to parents, teachers, principals, other professional parish personnel, and responsible practitioners outside the school; and performs related duties as required by the Supervisor of Pupil Appraisal Services.
